About You You’re an experienced and motivated Principal Planner (or Senior Town Planner ready to step up), looking for a role where you can lead, deliver and grow. Min of 10 years of experience in urban and regional planning, ideally with experience in consultancy. A deep understanding of the NSW planning system (LEPs, SEPPs, DCPs, rezoning and DA processes). Ideally you'll have Planning experience across Residential , Commercial and/or Mixed-Use Land/Urban Development. Proven ability to manage complex planning projects from strategy through to approvals. A commercial mindset and experience contributing to business development. Strong leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and guiding a small team. Confidence in managing clients, stakeholders and representing the business externally. Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency is necessary. In this pivotal leadership role, you will: Cultivate strong relationships with all essential project stakeholders. Attend client meetings as needed. Champion and implement cutting-edge initiatives. Contribute to the financial planning of new projects through cost estimation and pricing support. Collaborate with management to ensure precise understanding of project design drawings and specifications. Mentor and provide guidance to the Town Planning team. Manage and confirm the work scope of all subcontractors.
